The Bottom Line:
At times realistic, at times absurd, Mikhail Segal has put together four exhilarating short pictures bizarrely connected by an author’s rejected manuscript. Funny, irreverent and superbly acted this film cleverly investigates classic national characteristics to create a vivid portrait of life in contemporary Russia.
