Such was the word of mouth on this film for the past two years, that many punters couldn’t get into the final screening last year — so it’s back again by popular demand. And no surprise at all: it’s a fabulous funny comedy from France that plays brilliantly with stereotypes around race, unemployment and disability. It features outstanding performances from both Omar Sy and François Cluzet and it picked up 7 César nominations. Any comedy that grosses $445 million worldwide must be doing something right; if you missed it last year or during its theatrical release, then give yourself a treat and head along: you won’t regret it.
