Elias Munk and Laura Kjær — two young Danish actors — star in this film, which explores the universal themes of love, loss and the coming of age. Munk plays a young cancer patient and Kjær a charming hospice worker, whose initial chance meeting gradually gives way to a powerful connection with real emotional depth. The palpable onscreen chemistry between the two leads, together with sharp, sensitive and unsentimental direction from Frederik Barrington pushes this film beyond the ordinary and into something memorable. Both actors Elias Munk and Laura Kjær will be in Kilkenny at the weekend to present the film and we are proud to present the Irish premiere at Subtitle.
